Sterling Silver Turquoise Native American Castelan Inlay 12 Charm Bracelet

Very interesting heavy Native American sterling sliver charm bracelet. Clasp of bracelet is stamped. Castelan Sterling Hecho en Mex with an eagle insignia. Given these insignia, and the style of clasp with the safety chain indicate that the bracelet itself is from the 1950’s. The bracelet has six integrated rings (made as a part of the chain), which likely held simple sterling silver charms characteristic of Castelan charm bracelets. These have been replaced by gorgeous inlay charms (prob Zuni), and soldered in place. The artisan then added an additional six charms between the originals, resulting in a visually stunning bracelet. Each charm is a work of art in its own right, with well-done inlay and silver work. Stones include several types of. Turquoise, coral, jet and mother of pearl.
